HI-SMART blended mobility training – International student workshop and site-visits in Bratislava
In October 2021, a 3 day long training was held in Bratislava for university students and professionals along Hi-Smart project. The training included presentations about nearly zero energy buildings, renewable energies, energy efficiency, smart systems and innovative solutions. Beyond presentations a couple of site visits were organized by the professors of the Technical University of Bratislava in and around the capital. Participants visited different construction sites and meet innovative architectural and mechanical solutions.
During the training students were working in transnational teams. Each university (Bratislava, Kaiserslautern and Budapest) delegated 4-4 students, and Energiaklub delegated 4 professionals to the blended mobility activity. The trainers were also delegated by the project partners.
The students and professionals were from different fields of study and technical background. The context offered them technical know-how but also gave them a bunch of practical experience. The participants used the freshly developed learning materials of Hi-Smart project.
As a result of this activity the student teams developed “mini projects”, which were presented on webinars organized by the students themselves. After the personal meeting in Bratislava, participants continued the work together in a virtual way from their home universities and workplaces.
